Job summary

WSP is hiring a Pursuit Leader for the Earth & Environment Federal Sector. The role can be based in any U.S. city with preferred locations Nashville, Atlanta, San Diego, or Raleigh, and requires leading proposals, capture planning, and client engagement to win federal contracts.

You will coordinate with business lines, lead teams end-to-end, coach interview prep, ensure compliance, and leverage AI tools and InDesign for compelling content; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or related field.
• 7+ years leading large federal proposals in environmental/remediation with $5M–$500M scope.
• SF330 proposal experience is required.
• Strong ability to articulate complex ideas to influence others.
• Demonstrated leadership and accountability.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and logistics.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pursuits, including strategy, messaging, and compliance.
• Produce schedules and matrices; manage kickoff and sessions.
• Oversee pursuit teams and monitor progress per standards.
• Collaborate with technical staff to write and refine content.
• Coordinate with capture manager, technical leads, SMEs, and pricing.
• Coach interview teams and debrief post-procurement.
