Job summary

WSP is seeking a Pursuit Leader in the Earth & Environment Federal Sector. This role may be based in any U.S. city with preferred offices in Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; San Diego, CA; or Raleigh, NC.

You will work with senior leaders to position, pursue, and secure contracts with federal agencies, leveraging the Strategic Growth Team to drive growth initiatives. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end pursuit leadership, proposal development, interview coaching, and debriefs, plus knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or closely related field or equivalent experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience leading large competitive federal proposals in environmental, compliance, and remediation services in $5M to $500M range. SF330 proposal experience is required.
• Strong communications experience with the ability to articulate complex ideas to influence or persuade others.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, persistence and goal‑orientation.
• Knowledge of the pursuit development process from creation through submission.
• Ability to travel, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead priority pursuits end‑to‑end with strategy, messaging, compliance, and team coordination.
• Produce schedules and compliance matrices; manage proposal kickoffs and sessions.
• Collaborate with technical staff to write and edit content for clarity and key messages.
• Coach presentation teams for interviews and Q&A; debrief post procurement.
• Act as a connector across regional teams to position a complete WSP offering.
