Job summary

WSP is seeking a Pursuit Leader for the Earth & Environment Federal Sector. This role may be based in any U.S. city with an office, with preferred sites in Nashville, Atlanta, San Diego, or Raleigh. You will work closely with senior leaders to position, pursue, and secure federal contracts including USACE and Air Force.

The role leads strategy, capture planning, proposal development and interview coaching, acting as a knowledge manager for Federal Sector and driving cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or closely related field or equivalent experience in the A/E/C industry.
• 7+ years leading large federal proposals in environmental, compliance, remediation services, $5M–$500M.
• Strong communications to articulate complex ideas and persuade.
• Knowledge of pursuit development from creation through submission.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead priority pursuits end-to-end, including strategy, messaging, content quality, compliance, and client differentiation.
• Produce schedules, compliance matrices, manage kickoff, and facilitate sessions.
• Oversee pursuit teams and monitor progress in alignment with standards.
• Collaborate with technical staff to write, review, and edit content for clarity and compliance.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve proposal efficiency and quality while ensuring ethics and client focus.
