Basic Function: Responsible for receiving incoming products, ensuring proper storage and issuance, maintaining cost and quality controls, and ensuring smooth flow of received items and requisitions.
Work Performed
- Receive all goods, verify quality and quantity against standards, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Perform inventories daily, weekly, and monthly as directed.
- Maintain an orderly and sanitary receiving area and warehouse.
- Rotate stock and organize storage areas.
- Report inventory discrepancies to F&B and Accounting Management.
- Enter requisitions into inventory software.
- Process internal transfers.
- Monitor and file received package logs.
- Code perishable products with date received.
- Perform shipping duties in the absence of the Storeroom Clerk.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Responsibilities & Authority
- Ensure quality and quantity of received items.
- Secure warehouse and items.
- Maintain confidentiality of vendor quotes, inventory levels, and privileged information.
- Communicate effectively with the Controller, Clerks, Chefs, and other staff.
- Keep receiving area and storeroom organized and sanitary.
- Perform inventories as needed.
- Handle internal transfers.
- Represent the department positively.
- Prepare for various weather and storage conditions.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, good math and communication skills, computer knowledge or willingness to learn. Previous receiving experience preferred; food and beverage or hotel experience a plus.
