Job summary

Fischer Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support the Supply Chain Team. You will maintain purchase orders, vendor pricing, and trade partner capacity information to ensure timely delivery of materials and labor to Fischer Homes job sites.

You will collaborate with field management, estimating, and accounting, handling recurring reports and ERP-related tasks with accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in the homebuilding industry is a plus.
• Experience in purchasing-/procurement-related responsibilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders as requested by the Purchasing Manager and maintain vendor lists for supported communities.
• Enter and maintain vendor pricing, create bid items, and complete ERP-related tasks.
• Coordinate communication among trade partners, field managers, estimating, and accounting for divisions.
• Research purchase orders and payment information and distribute reports on required schedules.
