Cummins Inc. invites applications for a 12-month Cooperative/Student Placement in the U.S. for a role focused on purchasing systems and supply chain planning.

The program trains students to use purchasing tools, supports the full electronic sourcing workflow, and coordinates globally with CIP for catalogs and e-sourcing. Eligible candidates must be enrolled full-time, maintain a GPA of 2.5, and reside within the continental United States.

Qualifications

• Co-op program enrollment at a U.S. college or university with GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Residency within the continental United States is required.
• Candidates may work 40 hours/week for 4–12 months depending on school.
• F-1 students need CPT/OPT authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for purchasing system strategy.
• Analyzes purchasing system for opportunities and improvements.
• Trains internal customers to use purchasing systems.
• Supports end-to-end electronic sourcing processes and user training.
• Maintains and improves catalog hierarchies and coordinates with suppliers.
