Cool Today is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Florida. You will source materials, parts, and equipment for service and installation teams, ensure timely procurement, and process purchase orders with accuracy while maintaining cost-effective vendor pricing.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and collaboration with field technicians to meet daily purchasing needs and deliver reliable service. Training is provided and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience required.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or related trades is a plus.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, and parts needed for service and installation jobs.
• Work closely with field technicians and internal departments to create and manage purchase orders.
• Respond to phone calls and material requests from technicians in the field.
• Conduct price comparisons and vendor analysis to secure the best value and pricing.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Track and monitor incoming shipments and resolve delivery issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure inventory and purchasing needs are met to support daily operations.
