Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Purchasing Specialist on a 1-year contract (W-2) in Florida. The role covers PO creation and management, issue resolution, data cleanup, and SRM preparation for the move to GEP. You will work with procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers to keep purchasing workflows smooth.

The role requires experience in supply chain or purchasing, strong Excel skills, and comfort with ERP/SRM systems. On-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders (POs) and promptly.
• Manage existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution.
• Support special projects: identify and resolve past due POs.
• Data cleanup and validation activities.
• Prepare SRM system for transition to GEP.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth purchasing workflows.
• Maintain records and documentation to support audits and reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and standardization across the supply chain.
