Job summary

Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX is seeking a part-time Purchasing Specialist (20 hours per week) to ensure timely acquisition, receipt, stocking and distribution of medical supplies and equipment across the facility. You will maintain accurate inventory and storage conditions, coordinate with departments, and support efficient supply chain operations during morning hours, Monday–Friday.

Education: high school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials management, warehouse, inventory or supply chain within a hospital setting (1–3 years).
• Able to attend full hospital and department orientations as required.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing, receiving, stocking, organizing, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies, equipment, forms and other materials throughout the hospital.
• Ensure departments have the supplies they need while maintaining accurate inventory and proper storage conditions.

Position Summary: Purchasing Specialist - Part-time (20 hours/week)

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 1:00pm)

Responsible for purchasing, receiving, stocking, organizing, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies, equipment, forms, and other materials throughout the hospital. Ensures departments have the supplies and forms they need while maintaining accurate inventory and appropriate storage conditions.

Must be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: Monday -Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM; Week 2: Monday - Thursday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
