Job summary

Kohanaiki Shores LLC seeks a Purchasing & Receiving Lead / Back of House Manager for its Kohanaiki private club community in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. This full-time role coordinates daily purchasing, receiving, and stewarding oversight across departments to ensure accurate orders, proper receiving, and timely distribution.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong vendor relations, inventory controls, and experience in a fast-paced private club or luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous purchasing, receiving, inventory, warehouse, hospitality, or related experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while communicating with multiple departments.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn purchasing, inventory, and accounting systems.
• Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and Club leadership.
• Ability to lift/move boxes and operate in varied environments.
• Experience in private club or luxury hospitality environments.
• Experience with purchasing or inventory management software.
• Experience with F&B purchasing and receiving.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling of perishable products.
• Experience with vendor contracts, pricing, credits, and reconciliation.
• Experience supporting multiple operational departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day purchasing, receiving, verification, and distribution.
• Oversee Stewarding operations and coordinate with Culinary, F&B, and Housekeeping.
• Maintain organized receiving areas and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder points.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and Club standards.
