Job summary

Stealth-mode Battery Technology Co. in Santa Clara is seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to own how materials, equipment, and supplies get bought, shipped, and received.

You will build the purchasing function from the ground up, collaborating with founders and R&D teams to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing. You’ll manage lab consumables through capital equipment, negotiate with suppliers, coordinate international shipping, track lead times, and maintain

Qualifications

• 3+ years in purchasing/procurement in manufacturing/lab environments.
• Experience issuing POs and procure-to-pay cycle.
• Knowledge of international shipping Incoterms, freight forwarders, customs brokers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end PO process from engineering requests to delivery.
• Source lab consumables, chemicals, battery materials, tooling, and capital equipment.
• Negotiate pricing/lead times/terms; run bids for large purchases.
