Job summary

Havis, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead multi-site purchasing activities across Minnesota, Ohio, and Indiana. You will supervise Buyers, align sourcing with production schedules, and drive supplier development and cost improvements.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential. The role collaborates with Operations, Planning, Engineering, and Finance to ensure material availability and supplier performance while maintaining purchasing discipline and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading purchasing or supply-chain professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing team and translate business priorities into sourcing and supplier-management plans.
• Manage supplier negotiations, lead times, and cost opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across locations.
