Job summary

Assurance Manufacturing in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to optimize supplier relations and procurement processes in our manufacturing facility.

You'll collaborate with departments, negotiate with vendors, manage orders, monitor inventory, and uphold safety and quality standards while contributing to cost-effective sourcing and supplier performance metrics. This role also requires strong leadership and analytical skills for on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of purchasing or related experience.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with departments to identify equipment/material needs.
• Prepares purchase orders and requisitions for materials and equipment.
• Negotiate with suppliers; resolve grievances.
• Maintain supplier lists and vendor relationships.
• Monitor inventory and supplier delivery status.
• Ensure adherence to safety and company policies.
