Job summary

HECO, a Kentucky-based division, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our in-person team in Lexington. The role handles daily shipments, inventory management, and collaboration with purchasing to source parts. You will prepare and document outgoing freight, support customers, and maintain accuracy in records.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with on-site duties and safety responsibilities. HECO offers ongoing training and benefits as part of a steady, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must multitask effectively and stay focused on completing tasks efficiently.
• Forklift operation is required and must be performed safely.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and internet navigation; experience with purchasing/receiving software and generating shipping labels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process daily shipments from carriers and document them.
• Accurately store all incoming shipments in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare outgoing freight; generate paperwork and ship components to vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for all items.
• Assist Purchasing with locating new parts and vendor options.
• Provide quotes and estimates for customers and follow up on repair quotes.
• Create parts breakdowns and diagrams for pump parts sources.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with customers.
