Job summary

Hamilton Parker is seeking a Purchasing Leader to oversee the Purchasing team, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate vendor relations to ensure inventory availability across all channels. You will monitor the P21 system, reflect cost-conscious decisions, and drive continuous improvements in procurement processes.

Responsibilities include leading the purchasing team, obtaining inbound freight quotes, preparing BOLs, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, and communicating backorders with

Qualifications

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory control and procurement processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of international import purchasing and LTL tariffs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the purchasing team.
• Purchase stock based on replenishment methods and special orders.
• Acquire freight quotes for inbound/outbound shipments; optimize costs.
• Prepare BOLs for shipments and arrange freight pickups.
• Coordinate with Sales on backorders and stock status.
• Review freight invoices for accuracy and approvals.
• Identify cost savings and participate in special projects as assigned by management.
