Job summary

White Lodging in Austin is seeking a Purchasing and Receiving Supervisor to manage all F&B procurement, receiving, storage, and cost control. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure accurate ordering, inventory, and reporting, and collaborate with the Accounting team to streamline month-end processes.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with Clearsky and related tools, and a focus on reducing shrinkage through accurate records, policy enforcement, and effective vendor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Food Handler Certification desired.
• 1+ year in purchasing/receiving is an asset.
• Supervisory experience is an asset.
• Experience in hotel/restaurant industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all purchasing, receiving, and storage for Food and Beverage products.
• Maintain 95% compliance with Avendra program.
• Assist with month-end inventories and accurate data entry.
• Coordinate with Accounting for smooth month-end processes.
• Lead and train staff in Clearsky operations and training.
• Ensure proper use of ordering/receiving tools (Clearsky, Report Safe, Ascend).
• Record requisitions and billing accurately across departments.
• Review PARs to ensure items meet hotel needs and stock levels.
• Reconcile book vs. physical inventory; analyze shrinkage and prevent recurrence.
• Enforce safe storage policies and procedures.
• Attend weekly F&B and Wage meetings; take and distribute minutes.
• Organize monthly Purchasing team meetings and report to stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate monthly HS trainings with Loss Prevention Director.
• Ensure safety and security in purchasing/receiving activities.
