Job summary

IES is seeking a Data Processing Specialist to support centralized purchasing operations. This role processes requests, prepares purchase orders, manages a shared email inbox, and maintains accurate records for multiple locations across Florida.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable with spreadsheets, high email volumes, and repetitive tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong data entry and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process purchasing requests received through a shared email inbox.
• Create and submit purchase orders to vendors.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company systems and spreadsheets.
• Review requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Copy, transfer, and organize information from multiple sources.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, and product availability.
• Track order status and maintain documentation.
• Organize electronic records and supporting documentation.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies when needed.
• Assist with reporting and other administrative projects as assigned.
