Job summary

Woodmark Homes is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Coordinator to keep remodeling projects flowing on schedule. You’ll create purchase orders, source cabinetry and materials, and collaborate with designers and vendors.

This role is hybrid, with mostly remote work and on‑site meetings as needed. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in purchasing or construction coordination, strong organization, clear communication, and proficient use of Office and Google Workspace.

• Experience with kitchen and bath cabinet design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for remodeling projects.
• Order cabinetry, flooring, tile, fixtures, lighting, and related items.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and vendors on selections and lead times.
• Track orders and deliveries to keep schedules on track.
• Communicate with suppliers about pricing, availability, and shipping updates.
• Resolve discrepancies professionally when orders differ from what was ordered.

This full‑time position is a hybrid role, mostly working from home with on‑site meetings.

What You’ll Do

• Create and manage purchase orders for remodeling projects
• Order cabinetry, flooring, tile, fixtures, lighting, and all the fun stuff that makes a house look good
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and vendors to confirm selections and lead times
• Track orders and deliveries so schedules stay on track
• Communicate with suppliers about pricing, availability, and shipping updates
• Resolve the occasional “that’s not what we ordered” moment with professionalism and grace
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and assist with cost tracking
• Support field staff by coordinating job site deliveries

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, construction coordination, or administrative support
• Experience in kitchen and bath cabinet design is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and a love for details
• Excellent communication and follow‑up habits
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or construction software
• Bonus points for cabinet design experience or knowledge of residential remodeling
