You will support departments, handle bids and requisitions, and ensure best value while adhering to the organization’s code of conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with some college coursework.
• Experience and working knowledge of general purchasing and contracting.
• Valid Texas driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma-informed care language.
• Provide purchasing services for TPC departments, staff, and vendors.
• Perform routine and complex work in the purchasing of commodities, materials, and services.
• Prepare reports, bids, and process requisitions through government contracts and related entities.
• Communicate information related to purchase orders, expediting, notices, and vendor reports.
• Work with staff and vendors to determine best value for the agency.
• Assist walk-in customers and pull stock to fill orders.
• Adhere to the TPC Business Code of Conduct.
