APAS - A Professional Aviation Services in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Purchasing Clerk to join our Procurement team. The role focuses on sourcing and purchasing aircraft parts, components, tools, and materials for MRO operations, supporting inventory, supplier management, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

You will source parts, build supplier relations, negotiate terms, monitor inventory, and ensure FAA/EASA traceability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in aviation procurement or MRO
• Knowledge of aviation parts, regulatory compliance, and traceability
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management; CPP/CSCP a plus

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase aircraft parts, components, tools, and consumables
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships
• Evaluate vendor pricing, contracts, and terms
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders based on operations
• Expedite orders to support on-time delivery and reduce downtime
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics for availability and accuracy

• Ensure purchases meet FAA/EASA regulatory traceability requirements
• Support material cost budgeting, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives

• Recommend alternative sourcing options when needed

A Professional Aviation Services Corp. (APAS) is looking for an experienced Purchasing Clerk to join our Procurement team in Miami, FL.

This role will focus on sourcing and purchasing aircraft parts, components, tools, and materials required for our MRO operations, while supporting inventory availability, supplier management, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll do:

• Source and purchase aircraft parts, components, tools, and consumables
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Evaluate and negotiate vendor pricing, contracts, and terms
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders based on operational needs
• Track and expedite orders to support on-time delivery and reduce aircraft downtime
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure part availability and inventory accuracy
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, supplier agreements, and purchasing records
• Ensure purchases meet applicable FAA, EASA, certification, and traceability requirements
• Support material cost budgeting, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Accounting, and Finance
• Recommend alternative sourcing options when needed

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management within an aviation or MRO environment.

Strong knowledge of aviation parts, components, regulatory compliance, ERP/procurement systems, and Microsoft Office is required. Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are also important for success in this role.

An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred. CPP or CSCP certification is a plus.
