The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration across departments to drive growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Economics, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP; basic MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Select and procure merchandise with Buyer to ensure customer-oriented product mix and profit plan.
• Provide operational support by analyzing category performance and delivering insights.
• Participate in market visits and vendor appointments to select assortments and negotiate pricing.
• Contribute insights from competitive shopping, trend monitoring, and market evaluation.
• Build strong vendor relationships and influence order follow-ups.
• Manage email streams and communicate feedback to managers.
• Track receipts and flag late shipments; negotiate discounts with buyers.
• Oversee the full cycle of merchandise within the assigned area, including PO management.
• Collaborate across departments to execute assignments.
