Job summary

ENGEL North America is hiring a Junior Buyer - Automation to support procurement, logistics and administrative operations in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on order management, vendor coordination and cost-effective parts sourcing for the Wilmington facility, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and multitasking.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate degree helpful), 1–3 years in procurement or coordination, solid communication skills, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or coursework in business, supply chain or a related field is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, administrative coordination or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Order Management.
• Process and manage order confirmations from vendors.
• Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices or deliveries.
• Vendor Coordination.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
• Resolve issues promptly and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Update internal teams on any delivery or supply chain disruptions.
• Asset Management.
• Oversee the scheduling, maintenance and availability of company cars and local apartments.
• Office Supplies Management.
• Monitor and manage office supply inventory.
• Research and source cost-effective options for office needs.
• Parts procurement for Wilmington Facility.
• Manage the ordering of parts and supplies for the Wilmington facility to ensure smooth operations.
• Bulk Hardware for Automation team.
• Manage procurement of bulk hardware for automation projects.
• Coordinate with internal team to ensure timely hardware availability.
• Administrative Support.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all responsibilities.
