Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support plan take-offs, supplier pricing, and purchase orders within a dynamic homebuilding environment. You will work with division partners, maintain cost data, and help ensure on-time material availability while upholding accuracy and high standards of quality and service.

Strong Excel and Word, JD Edwards experience preferred, and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Computer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
JD Edwards experience preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Professionally perform multiple, detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.

Responsibilities

Set-up and maintain plan take-off information with complete entry for new and revised plans.
Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within division(s) of responsibility.
Monitor home site budgeting in line with projected start dates.
Review preliminary lot starts prior to finalizing.
Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve issues.
Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing via upload/download process.
Update purchase orders to reflect current cost, quantities, or trade partners.
