Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Agent to oversee development, negotiation, and execution of division sourcing agreements, plus material take-offs. This role supports the VP of Purchasing and coordinates with trade partners to optimize costs, quality, and delivery across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of purchasing experience in construction or homebuilding, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to read residential blueprints. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing experience, ideally with a national home builder or construction company.
• Ability to read residential blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of construction practices on a national level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, negotiation, and execution of division sourcing agreements.
• Create and maintain material take-offs and oversee subcontractor sourcing.
• Support VP of Purchasing with department timeline and workflow.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
