Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking a Buyer Assistant to support timely and cost-efficient purchasing of food, beverage, and casino supplies. You will work with Buyers, receiving, and inventory to ensure correct orders and strong vendor management.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year purchasing experience, and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and MMS. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one-year experience in purchasing food and beverage preferred.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and MMS.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of food and beverage terminology.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Assist Buyers in all aspects of the purchasing operation.
• Coordinate with receiving and inventory staff to ensure orders are correct.
• Prepare and process purchase orders to comply with procedures.
• Maintain approved vendor lists.
• Process New Vendor Licensing forms with paperwork accuracy.
• Process all office supply orders.
• Maintain Asset Disposal forms records.
• Ensure purchase requests are approved per levels.
• Ensure that terms and discounts are adhered to.
