Job summary

Chukchansi Gold is seeking a Purchasing Assistant in Coarsegold, CA to help buyers secure food, beverage, and casino supplies efficiently. You will partner with receiving and inventory to verify orders and keep records, while ensuring proper approvals and vendor compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic Office software skills, and a willingness to learn and support a busy purchasing team on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in purchasing food and beverage preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and MMS.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyers with timely and cost-efficient purchase and delivery of all food and beverage goods and casino supplies.
• Work closely with receiving and inventory staff to ensure orders are coming in correctly.
• Prepare and process purchase orders to comply with established purchasing procedures and maintain files.
• Maintain approved vendor lists and process New Vendor Licensing forms.
• Ensure purchase requests are approved in accordance with authorized levels.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform management requests as needed.
