$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr
General Description:
Performs daily support functions as required by the Purchasing department buyers in an accurate and timely manner.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain/Confirm current Purchase Orders to ensure on time deliveries
• Maintain Purchase Order and Supplier correspondence files.
• Assist with Purchase Order discrepancies and accounting variances
• Assist in resolving receiving issues and discrepancies for Raw Materials and Components
• Maintain current vendor cost files
• Request missing documentation i.e.; C of A’s for Raw Materials as required
• Prepare and send overnight packages via Federal Express and/or UPS
• Assist in Physical Inventory as required
• Serve as back up to MRO buyer
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have minimum (2) years purchasing experience in consumer products
• Must be proficient in all computer skills, (Word, Excel, etc). QAD-MFG/Pro skills are a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
• Must be able to comply with all company safety rules and standard operating procedures

• Must be attentive to detail and have good follow through
• Must possess initiative and self motivation
• Must be tenacious and have a positive attitude
• Must possess good phone mannerisms and have effective communication skills
Work Environment:
• Orderly and clean office
• Noise level is low
