The Purchasing & LogisticsManageris responsible forend-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, fleet coordination, and maintaininga safe, efficient facility. This role also manages procurement and RMA processes, ensuring timelyand cost-effective sourcing of materials and equipment to support business needs. The ideal candidate has proven experience in warehouse and purchasingoperations, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to drive improvements independently.

Essential Functions

  • Perform and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory handling, material staging, and outbound distribution to support project and service operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized facility while ensuring consistent application of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Track inventory movement and accuracy, performing physical counts,and reconciling discrepancies with system data.
  • Handle fleet coordination, including routine maintenance scheduling and vehicle utilization.
  • Collaborate with operations and back-office teams to evaluate vendors and procurematerials, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Execute purchasingdecisions in collaboration with otherdepartments for stock and project-specific items, guiding inventory additions/deletions based on business needs.
  • Manage the return goods (RMA) process, ensuring timelyresolution, minimized return costs, and proper vendor credit.
  • Address warehouse issues or incidents directly, documenting root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Occasionally deliver or transport materials and equipment to job sites when needed.
  • Conduct scheduled physical inventories to ensureaccuratereconciliation to maintaininventory integrity.
  • Promote and maintainhigh safety standards across warehouse and logisticsoperations.
  • Provide light facilities support as needed to maintaina safe and functional workplace.
  • Perform additionalresponsibilities as assigned by the managementteam.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3years of warehouse management experience
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, network devices
  • Experience in purchasingand procurement of warehouse-related materials is a plus
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work comfortably on ladders and lifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Proficient with basic hand and power tools, and knowledgeable in electrical circuitry and blueprint reading
  • Currentandvalid US driver’s license

  • Ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines
  • Must be professional and polished in appearance and be comfortable speaking to customers[Preferred] Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Comsenseor equivalent)

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. It routinely involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing systems. Occasional business travel may be required.
