Job summary

Midwest Shooting Center, a premier indoor shooting range and retail destination in Detroit, seeks a hands-on Retail Operations Manager to lead Purchasing, inventory control, pricing discipline, and compliance. You will safeguard assets, maintain accurate records, and act as Manager on Duty to support sales and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or operations.
• Ability to lead teams and enforce standards.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in a retail firearms environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all inventory intake, receiving, and reconciliation processes.
• Set and maintain retail pricing standards to protect margin.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and shrink prevention.
• Manage replenishment requests and coordinate purchasing activity.
• Conduct weekly audits for compliance, safety, and financial accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with ATF, OSHA, and internal standards.
• Oversee firearm transactions including FFL transfers and ATF Form 4473s.
• Train and coach associates on inventory control and compliance.
