Job summary

Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is seeking a Pharmacy Purchasing Agent (per diem) to procure and manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services.

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Purchasing Agent is responsible for procuring and maintaining the inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies handled by the Department of Pharmacy Services.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Graduate from a two-year college program with an Associates Degree or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program

Minimum Experience/Skills:

1. 3 – 5 years related work experience – A minimum of three (3) years experience as a pharmacy technician or purchasing agent with familiarity with drug terminology and purchasing/inventory control procedures
