Job summary

Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is seeking a Pharmacy Purchasing Agent for a per diem, day-shift role within its Pharmacy Department. You will procure pharmaceuticals and maintain inventory control under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services.

The position requires an Associate degree or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program, and 3–5 years of related experience with familiarity with drug terminology and purchasing/inventory control procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program.
• 3–5 years related work experience as a pharmacy technician or purchasing agent with familiarity with drug terminology and purchasing/inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Purchasing Agent is responsible for procuring and maintaining the inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies handled by the Department of Pharmacy Services.
