This position is full-time and involves serving customer needs through the placement of Government orders against established contracts, including purchase orders and calls against BPAs, FSS schedules, IDIQs, or other Government sources of supply. The role includes performing pre-award and post-award contracting actions, with all procurement actions at or under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). The contractor will utilize various purchasing procedures to acquire supplies, services, and construction, governed by the FAR and additional regulations.

Required Experience & Skills

• Knowledge of solicitation or purchasing methods such as oral solicitations, calls against BPAs, delivery orders, or priced purchase orders for noncompetitive open market purchases, established contracts, or competitive open market purchases with standardized specifications.
• Understanding of regulations related to required sources, mandatory schedules, and documentation procedures for routine purchases to ensure compliance.
• Basic price evaluation techniques to assess price reasonableness using references like price lists, government estimates, and historical data.
• Basic arithmetic skills for price comparisons.
• Proficiency with current software and media applications such as email, spreadsheets, Webex, FPDS-NG, ECF, FBO, E-buy, eSRS, EASi, and others.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Federal Government experience is a plus.

Required Education

• High School Diploma.
• At least two years of experience in contract purchasing or a similar role.
• 20 hours of professional acquisition training annually.
• Background screening and clearance may be required.
