Job summary

Seats Incorporated is seeking a Punch Press Operator to operate metal stamp presses and ensure parts meet specifications. The role involves setting dies, inspecting parts with gauges, and following precise setup instructions. You may rotate among stations to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Preferred mechanical aptitude and ability to read measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
• Comfort with gauges, calipers, and measurement devices.
• Able to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch presses to bend and punch steel parts per instructions.
• Set dies in presses according to setup instructions.
• Perform quality checks on parts using gauges and fixtures.
• Read measuring devices such as tape measure, protractor, caliper, and scale.
• Follow work instructions and rotate to different work stations as production needs require.
• Maintain attendance and safety procedures; lift up to 50 lbs.

Punch Press Operators will operate various metal stamp presses to bend and punch steel parts used in our custom seating products. (This position comes with a +$1.00/hr. Shift Differential!)
