Job summary

Precision Castparts in Irvine, CA is seeking a Level Two punch press operator to perform all punch press operations, including setup, tooling and process adjustments. You will support quality objectives and work under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Proficient in reading prints and blueprints.
• Strong math skills for tolerances and measurements.
• Experience with inspection processes and measurements.
• Good understanding of machine functions and controls.
• Basic tooling knowledge.
• Effective communication within a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and functional safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 45lbs.
• Perform full machine setups (loading dies and coils).
• In process inspection (visual & functional, recording).
• Perform First Article Inspection (First Part Buy-off).
• Visual management of machine components (stamps, dies, etc.).
• Handle production paperwork and operation audits.
• Provide leadership and training to lower level employees.
