Job summary

Tencarva Machinery Company is seeking Summer Sales Engineer Trainees for our branch network across the eastern U.S. Trainees support real customer projects and learn how equipment and systems are evaluated, specified, and applied in industrial and municipal settings.

During the program, you will gain hands-on experience with applications engineering, equipment quotations, and field visits, preparing you for ownership of a territory after training. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Interest in technical sales and engineering consulting.
• Coursework in Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Engineers with applications engineering and equipment quotations.
• Observe and learn how equipment is evaluated, specified and applied in industrial and municipal environments.
• Develop understanding of customer systems and propose suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
