Job summary

Tencarva Machinery Company is seeking aField Service Technician to support municipal and industrial pump systems across the Carolinas and adjacent states. You’ll diagnose and repair pumps, motors, controls, and panels, and assist with commissioning, start-up, and site readiness at customer locations.

You’ll work on submersible pumps, lift stations, control panels, VFDs, and related rotating equipment, with emphasis on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and field service excellence.

Qualifications

• Field service experience with pumps, motors, or rotating equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with control panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and maintain municipal and industrial pump systems in the field.
• Support pump installation, removal, commissioning/start-up, and site readiness activities.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues involving pumps, motors, controls, sensors, VFDs, and panels.
