Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Pump Shop Technician I in Spring, TX to support shop operations, handle rod pumps and oilfield equipment, and assist with inventory, shipping, and general duties.

The role requires basic education, technical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license. Experience in oil and gas is a plus, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred to manage documentation and workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment.
• Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks; stock receiving.
• Clean & inspect rod pumps & oilfield equipment; use of solvents and API tools.
• Assemble & re-assemble rod pumps & oilfield equipment.
• General Administrative Duties: stock orders, computer use, answering phones.
• General Shop Duties: wash floors, housekeeping, removal of garbage.

Position Summary

The Pump Shop Technician I supports shop operations by assisting with the cleaning, inspection, assembly, and handling of rod pumps and oilfield equipment. This role ensures equipment is prepared safely and efficiently while supporting inventory, shipping, and general shop activities.

Basic Employee Responsibilities

• Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a manager or request for assistance as needed.

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment
• Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks
  • Stock receiving
  • Manual lifting
  • Use of forklift
  • Spotter/helper for trucking companies
• Clean & inspect rod pumps & oilfield equipment
  • Use of solvents
  • Use of supplied API approved tools
  • Use of mechanical part washers
• Assemble & re-assemble rod pumps & oilfield equipment
• General Administrative Duties

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 education.
• Oil & Gas experience considered an asset

• Should be proficient in Microsoft programs, (Word, Excel, and Power point)

Physical Demands

• Travel- pump delivery/pick-ups
• Standing for up to 8 hours
