Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Pump Shop Technician I in Watford City, ND to assist with cleaning, inspection, assembly, and handling of rod pumps and oilfield equipment while supporting inventory, shipping, and general shop activities.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a willingness to lift up to 50 lbs; oil & gas experience is a plus, with on-site duties including forklift operation and daily equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Oil & Gas experience is considered an asset.
• Technical aptitude for shop tasks and equipment handling.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment.
• Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks.
• Stock receiving.
• Manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Use of forklift.
• Spotter/helper for trucking companies.
• Clean & inspect rod pumps & oilfield equipment.
• Assemble & re-assemble rod pumps & oilfield equipment.
• General Administrative Duties: stock orders, computer use, phones.
• General Shop Duties: wash floors, clean facilities.

Position Summary

The Pump Shop Technician I supports shop operations by assisting with the cleaning, inspection, assembly, and handling of rod pumps and oilfield equipment. This role ensures equipment is prepared safely and efficiently while supporting inventory, shipping, and general shop activities.

Location Requirement

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 education.


• Oil & Gas experience considered an asset

Physical Demands

• Travel- pump delivery/pick-ups


• Standing for up to 8 hours
