Job summary

Hydradyne, LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Pump/Cylinder to assemble, disassemble and repair pumps, motors, cylinders and valves. You will diagnose problems, identify parts, and test items in both shop and field environments.

Responsibilities include repairs, teardown/assembly, parts identification, and ensuring compliance with ISO procedures while maintaining a clean shop and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of mechanic experience, hydraulic experience preferred.
• ISO/Safety/Product/Maintenance/Quality training may be provided after hire.

Responsibilities

• Repair pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Disassemble and repair pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Build new pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Assist in the machine shop as needed.
• Test completed pumps, motors, valves and cylinders per written procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and proper records of parts used.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assemble, disassemble and repair pumps, motors, cylinders and valves. Diagnose problems and identify parts needed to repair. Test all items, perform work in both shop and field environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Repairs pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Tear down pumps, motors, cylinders and valves for repair. Identify parts needed to repair.
• Build new pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Assist in machine shop as needed.
• Test completed pumps, motors, valves and cylinders according to written procedures.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjusts parts, equipment and machinery.
• Record parts and materials needed and request new parts and materials as necessary.
• Maintain a neat and orderly shop.
• Hone/repair barrels.
• Provide assistance in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and controls.
• Maintain test stands and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.
• Know, understand and abide by environmental policies.
• Weld as needed.
