Job summary

Faremouth & Company is seeking a Project Engineer to design, develop, test, and manufacture vertical pumps. You will create 3D models and drawings, perform hydraulic analysis, and support testing to meet customer specs and industry standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring manufacturability, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with manufacturing, quality control, and customers. A strong mechanical engineering background and proficiency with CAD tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Design mechanical components, pump assemblies, and test fixtures using 3D CAD; produce detailed drawings and specs.
• Develop centrifugal pump hydraulics and performance analyses.
• Support pump testing and analyze results per API, Hydraulic Institute standards.
• Review customer specs and ensure manufacturability and quality requirements.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing issues and resolve design concerns.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, calculations, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical components and pump assemblies using 3D CAD; create drawings and specs.
• Develop centrifugal pump hydraulics, performance, and system curves.
• Support pump testing and analyze results to verify compliance.
• Review specifications and ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve design/fab issues.
• Assist with quality documentation and investigations as needed.
• Maintain technical documentation and test procedures.
