Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to read and follow manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Strong physical stamina to stand and lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, torque tools, and measurement devices.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail for precise assembly and repair.
• Solid understanding of mechanical principles and pump systems.
• Good communication skills for team collaboration and documentation.
• Welding and fabrication experience required for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump skids including centrifugal, rotary, and positive displacement types.
• Install and test mechanical seals to prevent leaks.
• Perform laser alignments on pump units to tight tolerances.
• Trim and balance impellers for optimal operation.
• Inspect completed units before shipment for quality.
• Collaborate with design team to improve pump skids.
• Manage shop stock inventory to ensure parts are available.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
