Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a Pump Mechanic/Inspector for our Stafford, TX PRO Services shop. You will perform complete disassembly and reassembly of centrifugal pumps, conduct precise inspections, and determine repair vs. replacement based on OEM specs to reduce total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical degree preferred.
• Experience with rotating equipment a must.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble centrifugal pumps, including multistage units.
• Perform dimensional inspections of components with precision tools.
• Evaluate repair vs. replacement based on OEM specs.
• Lead troubleshooting and develop repair solutions.
• Prepare detailed work scopes and material requirements.
• Mentor lower-level mechanics in disassembly and assembly.
