Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to assemble, repair, and test pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves. The role involves both shop and field work, diagnosing issues, and selecting required parts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of mechanic experience.
  • Hydraulic experience preferred.
  • ISO training, safety training, and equipment maintenance knowledge.
  • Certified welder preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, and repair pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.
  • Tear down and repair components; identify parts needed.
  • Build new pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.
  • Assist in machine shop as needed and operate machine tools.
  • Test completed items according to written procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain a neat, safe, and organized shop environment.
  • Aid in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
