Job summary

Valero is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to install, inspect and service rotating equipment at our Memphis refinery. The role requires hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, turbines and gearboxes, and the ability to read schematics and follow OEM specifications.

Typical qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a journeyman certification, and at least five years of rotating equipment experience. This is an on-site, full-time position with overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, and maintains rotating equipment within the refinery.
• Inspects, troubleshoots and maintains rotating equipment per API/ASME/ANSI standards and OEM specs.
• Adjusts and aligns machinery and equipment.
• Reads schematics and drawings; uses hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Ensures safe and reliable operation of rotating equipment.
