Job summary

ITT Inc. in Colfax, NC is seeking a Pump Mechanic/Inspector to support aftermarket repair and upgrade work in the Colfax PRO Services shop.

The role focuses on inspecting, testing, and overhauling pumps and rotating equipment to reduce total cost of ownership and maximize plant uptime. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience with rotating equipment, the ability to read blueprints, and be able to operate cranes or forklifts.

Qualifications

• Proficient in relevant PC skills and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide work scope and material based upon customer’s requirements and specifications.
• Conduct final inspection of machined parts and assembled equipment.
• Safely perform air and hydro-testing of equipment.
• Escalate job-related issues to peers or supervisors.
• Operate cranes and lifting devices as needed.
