Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps with safety and professionalism. You will troubleshoot, maintain and repair pumps and provide exceptional customer service to customers on every assignment.

Responsibilities include documenting services, training junior technicians, demonstrating equipment to customers, and traveling to various customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities
