United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to perform maintenance and repair on pumps, ensuring safe, reliable operation for our customers. You’ll troubleshoot, document service, and uphold quality standards.

Strong mechanical skills, knowledge of construction equipment, and a customer‑focused attitude are essential as you train others and travel to customer sites to complete tasks with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background, especially engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
