United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) to maintain and repair pumps in the Fluid division. You will troubleshoot, service and repair pumps while delivering exceptional customer service at customer sites.

The role offers growth toward higher-level Tech positions within our Service Department. You will perform service documentation, demonstrate equipment to customers, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
