Job summary

United Rentals in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) to service and repair pumps at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, document service, and support customers with equipment demonstrations.

This safety-sensitive role offers growth toward higher level tech positions in our Service Department. The position requires 3–5 years of pump experience, strong mechanical skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers.
• Strong mechanical background with diverse engines.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and safety.
• Basic understanding of schematics/diagrams.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
