Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair pumps, and provide excellent service to customers across sites.

The role includes training junior technicians and demonstrating equipment when needed. Travel to customer locations is expected. A high school diploma and 3–5 years’ pump experience are required, with a valid driver’s license and strong mechanical background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and engines.
• Understanding of schematics/diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Other duties as needed.
